Looking for the timeless, the unique and the personal

I wear Scottish wool in winter and seersucker in summer. I drink my Korean green tea out of a white china cup and we turned our hallway into a library for more than a thousand books. These things make me feel utterly at home, wealthy, sophisticated and firmly grounded in a culture of education and substance. My atelier is my favorite place on earth and everything I create springs from a desire to live with things that reflect traditional values and are here to last.

My mission is to create objects of beauty that are independent of fashion or trend, reminiscent of classical styles, have an element of curiosity and will give joy in ten years time as they do today. That is why I decided to share my artifacts with you and create a collection of things for people who love museums, travel, culture and quality materials as much as I do.

Everything you see here was created from scratch. Idea, concept, planning, sourcing the best materials, making the actual product and even the photography are my own responsibility. There is no recipe to follow, but a lot of thought, trial, and error on my part. Sometimes, I combine several different techniques, materials and artistic skills in the process of creating one particular piece. It keeps me on my toes; I constantly have to improve my skills and learn new ones to make a particular project happen. Every thought, every touch, and every brushstroke add the kind of value to the artifact that is so hard to find in our mass-market reality.
